A POEM FOR A COWARDLY LIAR & GOSSIP IN VERSE
He rides sicker that never fell...
An old Scottish proverb
It's the dreamers that make this world a better place,
Not all the asses who boast that they are better by fate,
Not the back stabbers or cowards who jealousy rules,
Not the egotistical wannabe's who lie or bend the rules,
And certainly not those who falsely accuse or must destroy another's faith,
No, it's the dreamers who make this world a better place.
For we are the architects of heaven & the saviors of grace,
The poets and the painters and the prophets of our race
The target of those who cannot comprehend
The enemy of the shallow and the death to their ends,
And no one can take away that truth from its place,
Because it's only the dreamers who make this world a better place.
So you with your money, and you with your hate
You with you're gossip and you with you're age
Mark these words and remember them well
That its this poet's good voice that will send you to hell
For we are the architects of heaven & the saviors of grace,
But we are also its defenders & the killers who create
The words, which shall in the end be your only memory, left
Unto history's wake...
Because it's only the dreamers who make this world a better place,
The poets and the prophets, the innocent and the brave
But unfortunately you will never be one of us....
